The short version
- VaultXT is made by Opus Vault, a business in Australia.
- It turns a WhatsApp chat export into a dated, numbered PDF record with every quote checked against your chat.
- Your written messages stay on your device.
- It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.
Who makes VaultXT
VaultXT is made by Opus Vault, a business in Australia. You can reach us at hello@vaultxt.com.
What it does
You open a WhatsApp chat export, pick the messages that matter, and download dated, numbered PDFs. Your selected messages are copied word for word, with a short chronology and a complete record of the chat kept alongside. People use it for refunds, disputes, landlords and builders, and to prepare for family court.
How it protects your privacy
The chat is read and the PDFs are made in your browser, on your device. We never receive your written messages or the photos in them, and there are no accounts. What can leave your device is limited:
- A voice note you choose to have written out. Only if you tap “Write out this voice note” and agree, the audio of that one voice note is sent to Cloudflare's speech-to-text service through our website, and the words come back. We do not store or log the audio or the words.
- Payment. When you buy a pack, our payment provider, Stripe, handles your card. We never see your card number.
The full detail is on the privacy page.
How quotes are checked
Before you see your pack, every quote and page is matched against your chat. We check that each quote matches your chat word for word, that every chronology entry points at the right page, that every message is in the complete record in order, and that the fingerprint matches your original file. We don't guess dates, and if a character can't be shown, you are told. If anything is off, we tell you.
Anyone holding a pack can check that its PDFs belong together and haven't been changed, free, on their own device, at the pack checker.
What VaultXT cannot do
- It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. For advice, speak to a solicitor or a free advice service.
- It cannot promise that a court, seller, platform or bank will accept a pack. Always follow your own court's directions and ask the court or a solicitor if you are unsure.
- It records what was said in the messages you give it. It can't confirm that the messages are true or complete beyond the file you supply.
Reviews
VaultXT is new and has no reviews yet. We haven't published any, and we won't make them up.
